Before training with Louis, I had no idea what it felt like to be really pushed in a workout or what muscle-mind connection was. There were times I wasn’t sure I could do it, but Louis has without fail believed since day one that I have the ability to withstand the challenge and to become the strongest and best version of myself. Louis pushed me mentally and physically to become stronger, breaking pre-existing boundaries. I learned the incredible kind of mental strength to push through the physical pain you often can’t achieve training without a expert trainer! This built up my resilience to everyday struggles as well as life’s greater challenges impacting my life outside the gym.
Louis helped me to achieve 100kg squat, I feel stronger healthier, I’ve lost 15kg+ while gaining significant muscle. I look entirely different from when I started, both in my body and in my face. I am able to push myself in my own sessions not only because I now have the confidence, but because of the resilience and ability to push myself to my limits that I’ve developed with Louis. The sessions he puts together get results and I now implement most of what we do together in my own sessions; I know what I’m doing in every session and I get it done with confidence.

I had worked with Louis for 2 years achieving incredible life changing results going into 2024. The service had such a massive impact on me that to start the year I made the decision to come off my antidepressant medication. I’d been taking antidepressants for ten years by that point, so it was a huge decision to make. I really believe that training with Louis played a pivotal role in my ability to be able to come off medication. Without being pushed to my limits in our sessions together, I wouldn’t have built up the mental resilience to overcome challenges and come out better on the other side. This, along with my much improved body image, self esteem and energy levels, vastly improved my mental health. Without Louis’ support and encouragement, I know I wouldn’t have carried on with the gym. I know that I would probably still be weighing over 90kg at 5’3 in the same position I was before, meaning that I’d be continuing on a path of self-destruction. I would probably have ended up with an array of illnesses, either in the near future or later in life, because I was too sedentary and was over-eating every day. So to say that training with Louis has changed my life is not an overstatement in the slightest.
Louis is an incredible trainer who is a privilege to work with and to know as a person. There will be times you want to kill him when doing a lethal drop set, but without doubt Louis is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met.

To say I reached my original goals is an understatement, I’m now noticeably more muscular, leaner, physically stronger than ever and able to push myself mentally to a completely different level in workouts. The method of training your mind and your body will follow, leads to far greater than the physical changes that have been more than apparent. Overcoming the mental challenges of the workout lead to elevated self believe beyond the gym and the workout.
Sessions are second to none, they are programmed to get the most out each exercise, goals set for specific exercises and then accessory movements that complement these goals allowing you to take steps towards the bigger goals. The results I’ve got haven’t taken anything away from my personal life, everything has been achieved on two 1-2-1 sessions a week and I’ve added one training session myself when I have time, I go to the gym less than most people and still get better results, the focus is really on quality of workouts opposed to quantity.
I’ve never been able to make progress at this rate in the gym and I highly recommend it to anyone with a sporty or competitive background because it’s extremely rewarding. Working with Louis and LGC is a great personal investment.

Having the structured sessions where each exercise has a purpose and and I understand that purpose has made workouts simpler, more enjoyable and lead to greater progress and results. I love the way the bigger goals are broken down into manageable targets that I can achieve every 1-2 weeks, leading to gratification and knowing what I’m doing is paying off.
Having the accountability on weekly steps, hours of sleep and making more nutritious food choices has made an impact on performance inside the gym but also energy levels outside the gym and everyday life. All the above has resulted in self confidence, higher expectations for myself, better performance in my workouts and breaking my personal bests over and over in the gym.
The service has genuinely improved my quality of life and uni experience and the fact it’s being made more accessible to students is incredible.

I can’t express enough how much I have benefited from the service. Second year it allowed me to learn new skills, time spent in the gym became far more productive, I learned about principles such as progressive overload, time under tension and mechanical tension which lead to seeing real results in my training. More importantly my perspective on training completely changed, I fully embodied and understood the philosophy behind LGC. The focus was on pushing myself mentally and as a result I saw the greatest results not only physically but in my wellbeing. This really came into effect in my 3rd year being overwhelmed with exams, work and a stressful personal life. Not only was I better prepared to deal with all of the pressure but the session themselves were some of the most important hours of my week, a key part to supporting me through a difficult time. I cannot recommend the service enough as for the right people it will have life changing impact in mind, health and through the SSC is more accessible to students who may not otherwise be in the position to afford.
