LGC Student Sponsorship Scheme

UP TO 50% OFF THE BEST PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS

Sponsorships fund 50% of the sessions opening the opportunity for students to get access to a elite personal training service that is more accessible.

 

 

HOW IT WORKS

A collaborative effort from local small businesses, we have come together to open a number of spaces for students to be sponsored.

Having the structured sessions where each exercise has a purpose and and I understand that purpose has made workouts simpler, more enjoyable and lead to greater progress and results. I love the way the bigger goals are broken down into manageable targets that I can achieve every 1-2 weeks, leading to gratification and knowing what I’m doing is paying off. 

Having the accountability on weekly steps, hours of sleep and making more nutritious food choices has made an impact on performance inside the gym but also energy levels outside the gym and everyday life. All the above has resulted in self confidence, higher expectations for myself, better performance in my workouts and breaking my personal bests over and over in the gym. 

The service has genuinely improved my quality of life and uni experience and the fact it’s being made more accessible to students is incredible.

It’s now more affordable for you to invest in yourself along side your studies, creating an additional support system for you to improve physically and mentally leading to overall improvement in wellbeing and personal growth. 

 

 

ACCESS FOR ALL

The program is for all students, from individuals with little to no experience weight training to  individuals with specific transformation or strength goals. We will sit down, discuss your goals and find a plan for you to overcome the. From building confidence in the gym and working out to breaking through plateaus and creating new personal bests.

I can’t express enough how much I benefited from the service. Second year it allowed me to learn new skills, time spent in the gym became far more productive, I learned about principles such as progressive overload, time under tension and mechanical tension which lead to seeing real results in my training. More importantly my perspective on training completely changed, I fully embodied and understood the philosophy behind LGC. The focus was on pushing myself mentally and as a result I saw the greatest results not only physically but in my wellbeing. This really came into effect in my 3rd year being overwhelmed with exams, work and a stressful personal life not only  was I better prepared to deal with all of the pressure but the session themselves were some of the most important hours of my week and were a key part to supporting me through a difficult time. I cannot recommend the service enough as for the right people it will have life changing impact in mind and health and through the SSS is more accessible to students who may not otherwise be in the position.

We continue to look for investors to support an even higher capacity of students and lower the prices making it more accessible and affordable. All trainers providing sessions are on a set rate and this will never be raised. All investments go to furthering the program and supporting the students involved.

I had a great gym session with Louis and got alot out of it! I felt that after a conversation with myself and Lydia who I did the gym session with, Louis really understood our goals in the gym and applied this to the session he took us through. We wanted to learn more about how to improve strength and explosive power in our legs and I feel that I have learnt so much in the one hour we had with him. Most importantly, Louis showed us that what we achieve in the gym is very much about mindset and mental strength as he pushed me further than I would ever usually push myself. The variety of leg exercises Louis showed me in the gym will definitely be applied to future gym sessions. As a student I would have never considered PT sessions but Louis has definitely made me realise the value in them and sponsorships for students who want to afford PT sessions would be a great opportunity for so many students.
